For decades, Traulsen has been the industry leader in high performing and innovative refrigeration equipment. Established in 1938 in Queens, New York, Traulsen began as a producer of bakery fixtures that included refrigerated showcases. During WWII, Traulsen developed the reputation of innovation with manufacturing portable refrigerated boxes to preserve food under combat conditions – where sustenance was critical, but electricity was not always available. Since then, commercial refrigeration has been the primary focus of the company.
